Welcome to the W. H. Over Museum! We are thrilled to share...
Protecting the Collection
- Please Do Not Touch: The oils on our hands can damage delicate and historic artifacts. Please help us preserve them by refraining from touching exhibits, display cases, and artifacts unless an area is specifically marked as a hands-on interactive.
- Food and Drink: To prevent pests and accidental spills, food, gum, and beverages are not permitted inside the museum galleries.
- Bags and Backpacks: For the safety of the artifacts, we may ask that you carry large backpacks by your side or leave them in your vehicle.
For a Great Visitor Experience
- Photography: Personal, non-flash photography is welcome and encouraged for most of our exhibits (with the exception of our Stanley J. Morrow photography collection). Feel free to share your photos with us on social media. The use of tripods, monopods, or professional lighting is not permitted.
- Be Mindful of Others: Please use a quiet, indoor voice and be considerate of other visitors enjoying the museum. We ask that you silence your cell phone during your visit.
- Supervise Children: We love welcoming young historians! For their safety and the protection of the collection, please ensure children are supervised by an adult at all times. Please do not allow children to run or climb on exhibits.
